In the fall of 2021, I was diagnosed with stage zero breast cancer. My treatment included the use of Tamoxifen for five years. Two side effects that impacted me immediately were night sweats and sleep disruption. I was lucky to get three hours a night. While over-the-counter medicine helped, I could not take it for five years, and I did not want to treat the side effects of one prescription with another. My oncology nurse mentioned other patients had luck with acupuncture so I gave it a try.
